Wichita Clutch

For start/stop cyclic applications. The CCB consists of an air applied clutch and a spring applied / air release brake combined in one unit. Designed for dry running only.

Hub, Back Plate, Center Plate, Drive Plate, Air-Tube Holding Plate, Pressure Plate, Air-Tube, Shim, End Cap, Quick Release Valve, Air Hose, etc.

Combination of space age fibers and elastomerics give extended life and fit assurance. Wichita airtubes are trouble free and easy to replace. A Long Stroke airtube is available on selected models to provide extended service life.

Special high strength proprietary materials with molded composite teeth resist functional wear and provide additional output torque. Friction material provides longer life and more consistent operation due to continuous research and development and quality control.

For light to medium tensioning applications.For dry operation only.

'Fail to safety' design for high cyclic and general stopping and holding duties. The LI/SSB is designed for end-shaft or through-shaft mounting.
